Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using CoachScript ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of a team, club, or organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account.

2. The Service

CoachScript provides coaching-operations tools (roster, practice planning, playbook, film references, and scheduling) for youth and amateur football staffs. We may add, change, or remove features at any time, and we may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will revise the "Last updated" date above, and your continued use of the Service means you accept the revised Terms.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate account information and keep it current. Notify us promptly at support@coachscript.io if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the Service. You agree not to attempt to access data you are not authorized to view, interfere with or disrupt the Service, reverse engineer it, or upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content. Access to a team's data is limited to that team's authorized members. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe create risk for the Service or other users.

5. Content

You retain ownership of the roster, playbook, schedules, and other content you submit ("Your Content"). You grant CoachScript a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, and process Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service. You are responsible for Your Content, and you represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit it, including any information about minors entered by coaching staff.

6. Billing, renewals & refunds

Paid plans are billed annually in advance. Team plans are $99 per team per year; organization plans are billed per covered team at the volume rate shown at checkout. Unless you cancel before your renewal date, your subscription renews automatically each year at the then-current price. Canceling stops future renewals; your access continues through the end of the paid term, and beyond the refund window below we do not prorate or refund the remaining time on a canceled term. You may request a full refund within 14 days of any charge (your initial purchase or a renewal) by emailing support@coachscript.io. After 14 days, that charge is non-refundable. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if we are required to by law, or if we discontinue the Service. When your account ends, your right to use the Service stops, and we will handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Content, Disclaimers and liability, Indemnification, and Governing law) will continue to apply.

8. Disclaimers & liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CoachScript will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data or profits, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim or USD 100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty or liability limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CoachScript and its officers, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, losses, and reasonable expenses (including attorney fees) arising out of your use of the Service, the content you submit, or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right. We will notify you of any claim for which we seek indemnification and may participate in its defense.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that the state and federal courts located in Florida have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, and you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in those courts.
